Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been a bonafide actor for sometime now, carving his name firmly into the action-adventure genre with a host of starring roles, most notably in the Fast & Furious franchise.
But recently he’s been revealing his preparation for possibly his biggest role yet, that of Zeus’ son demi-god Hercules, in the up coming Hercules: The Thracian Wars. The film, due out in 2014 is based on the grahic novel of the same name, but in this world there’s no supernatural goings on – so don’t expect any Immortals style godly interventions, just gritty mercenary steel-on-steel mass and messy warfare.
From his other previous tweets, it looks like The Rock is going into beast mode to get BIG for the legendary Hercules movie role. Looks like he’s made for the role!
