With it’s sharp and rich jazzy influence, Omar‘s new single The Man forces your neck muscles to jerk back and forth to the groove with all the confidence of a strutting pimp.
The Man is an uplifting track, with solid groove and Omar’s trademark silky tones, proving that contemporary soul is still alive and strong. The video, directed by Robin Brunson, has a distinct Lomo feel to it. Definitely worth a look. This is the first look and listen we’ve had of Omar’s latest album of the same name, The Man, and now we can’t wait to hear and see more.
