‘Heroes: Reborn’ Sees Return Of Hit Show Killed By Strikes

[youtube id=”xXUjpHHfTLY” width=”620″ height=”360″]NBC have teased that hit turned super flop series “Heroes” will be returning to screens in 2015, following the show grinding to a halt after 3.5 seasons.

The show which first launched back in 2006 launched the careers of Masi Oka (Time bending Hiro) and Hayden Panettiere, as she played the ‘unbreakable’ Cheerleader Claire Bennet, joined by a motley crew cast of seemingly unrelated and unassuming heroes, brought together by fate to save the planet. It was awesome, at least at first, until it began to die a death thanks to the “writer’s strike” .

We don’t know much at this point, just that the return of Heroes will be a 13 episode mini-series (their playing it safe OBVS), and will focus on a new set of characters, although NBC has said it isn’t ruling out the possibility of some previous heroes returning.

Let’s hope it doesn’t pick up where it left off and actually kicks arse like it did in the beginning.
