905_QC25__black_RBGBose has just announced its new QuietComfort 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones, the next generation of its category-defining QuietComfort headphones.

The new QC 25 headphones feature an entirely new design, combining better noise reduction and audio performance with maximum portability and a completely refreshed look, accented by a cool metallic blue on both options. They replace the legendary QC15 headphones and will be available from Bose and select authorized dealers such as apple, from September 15th with pre orders starting from today through Bose.co.uk.

“The QuietComfort 25 headphones set a new standard for performance,” said Sean Garrett, vice president of the Bose Noise Reduction Technology Group.  “We improved nearly every dimension — greater noise reduction, lifelike audio, a striking new profile and styles, and a new earcup pivot to fold up smaller than ever.  We weren’t going to replace the QC15 headphones unless we had something that was better and different — and the QC 25 is both.”020_QC25_RGBA single AAA battery comes in the box and should give you up to 35 hours of noise cancelling magic but the headphones will still work without battery power. iDevices and selected smartphones can be controlled during media playback and when taking calls using the in-line remote with built-in mic. The band of the headphones has been designed to fit closer to the head whilst maximising comfort, utilising engineered fabrics found in high-end automotive applications. The ear cushions are made from protein leather. and the earcups themselves feature a soft-touch bumper and cast zinc pivot.
