Groomed guys get more love from the ladies during Movember!

movember-A new survey from Gillette, the world’s leading male grooming brand, has found that if guys want to maximise positive female attention during Movember, then styling their Mo is the way to go!

Of 2000 women surveyed from across the UK, 65% think that men should groom or style their Mo rather than leave it au naturel and almost 70% would actively encourage their men to tidy up their top lip.

The survey comes as guys across the globe start growing tashes to take part in Movember and help raise awareness and funds for men’s health causes. So where does this leave charitable gents during for the next few weeks?

Some 58% of women claim that they prefer a Mo-less face however, in the name of a good cause 31% feel that a groomed moustache can be sexy! When asked about styled Mos 37% of women admitted to finding groomed Mos stylish, 34% think that they represent a man that cares about his appearance and 30% think they make a man look more confident. All positive stuff!

Meanwhile, men who refuse to style may well find themselves to be a female-repellent, with almost 50% of women thinking that unkempt Mos look unhygienic; while 43% would think that the guy is lazy as a result.”

Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy Q&AWhen it comes to the type of Mo women love, it all depends on the age. Ladies over the age of 45 are more likely (26%) to go for a Tom Selleck mighty Mo, while those under the age of 25 would far rather (33%) be tickled by Johnny Depp’s trimmed tash!

2014 is the third year of Gillette’s partnership with Movember. To date, over 4 million moustaches have been grown with over £346 million raised by the Movember community since 2003.
