You’d be hard-pressed not to recognise the cropped shoe above, a glance of the new Adidas Boost reveals something that has become almost iconic in only a matter of weeks.
Ever since Adidas released their ad showing off the Boost foam technology, compared to widely used Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) and erm…concrete, the vision of the bouncing steel balls and a promise to “revolutionise” something humans have been able to do since we were cave people has had everybody talking.
So when Adidas gave me a chance to try them out I was thrilled and sceptical in equal measure, would they really make an impact? Or were they just another marketing gimmick?
