Crepe City Was A Road Block

The UK’s premier Sneaker Culture and Trade event was bigger and better than ever following a massively successful turn out at this weekend’s Crepe City @ Village Underground in Shoreditch.

Bathed in glorious sunshine, the streets around Village Underground were treated to a wealth of extra heat as hundreds of sneakerheads from near and far descended upon Crepe City, seeing queues wrapping around the entire block, almost twice, it was simply bonkers!

Traders selling apparel as well as shoes were inundated with hungry buyers and eager fans alike, trying to snatch a piece of sneaker culture history, or just something fresh to add to the collection, whilst others were in search of their “holy grail” pick ups. Throughout the event that kicked off at 12pm, attendees were entertained with DJs and could graze on food and stay quenched at the all day bar – which was even more perfect given the glorious weather London saw on Sunday.

After a successful day’s selling, Playdot Apparel Co-founder Kay, told us: “It was madness, to see so many people come out is really good for the scene.”
