Hundreds of bare-skinned bike lovers took to our capital’s streets over the weekend for the annual World Naked Bike Ride, an event started to protest against modern society’s dependency on fossil fuels, as well as cyclist’s vulnerability.
If you tried to drive through Central London on Saturday, you may have noticed a number of closed roads in Marble Arch, King’s Cross, Clapham Junction, Picadilly and around Hyde Park Corner where the protest began and converged. Spectators in their droves added to the traffic calamity as they stopped in their tracks to oggle observe the protest.
