Adidas have begun previewing some of their sports and lifestyle pieces for spring/summer 2014 and we’re loving a lot of what we’ve seen, from breakthrough technological firsts in fitness gear to undeniably stylish clobber, topped off with some great colour palettes and pattern work.
Here’s a few pics of the kit, kicks and clothing that we’re particularly excited about getting our hands on:
You’re probably familiar with Adidas Boost technology but now they’ve pushed the boat out even more, improved the design of the Boost shoe upper for improved fit and comfort. Whilst pictured above, Adidas have created another sportstech first with the Adidas “SpringBlade”, they’re supposed to literally put a spring in your step, and they cut an attention grabbing silhouette. We’re hoping to get some in for review so watch this space for feedback on how they actually perform. We’re hoping they’re not just a funny looking gimmick.
Meet the breakthrough technology that is “ClimaChill“. Using strategically placed sewn in beads of titanium metal, this material will not warm to your skin and remain cool no matter how hard you train.
TechFit and AdiZero sportstech is increasingly featured across much of Adidas’ performance gear. These basketball shoes are impressive with strong colourways taking inspiration from the animal kingdom.
The legend that is #StanSmith honoured with this simple but classy update.
It’s good to see more pastels and pinks being effectively introduced to the men’s shoe range, these Gazelle‘s are particularly special, Jamie wants the whole lot!
The classic superstar is given a premium feel with a Hip-Hop throwback.
Jamie modelled a range of our favourite jackets, the bottom one by Jeremy Scott is a love it or hate it piece, but we couldn’t deny it’s bold use of pattern and graphic. It would take a confident man to pull it off, but we think if done right, it works really well. these are just a small handful of what will be hitting stores for SS14 from November this year onwards, and as you can see the range in graphic, colour and style is diverse.
