WWE Legend The Ultimate Warrior has passed away aged 54, leaving fans and the world of entertainment wrestling shocked and saddened.
Only last year we announced the Warrior, real name James Brian Hellwing, was to make his return to the ring and see his hall of legend status immortalised in WWE 2K14.
Taking to twitter, Triple H wrote: “Saddened to announce the passing of the Ultimate Warrior. Icon and friend. My sympathy to his wife Dana and his daughters”
Legend and historic adversary Hulk Hogan, simply posted: “RIP WARRIOR. only love.”
He appeared at contreversial Wrestlemania 30 on Sunday and Monday Night Raw, speaking at the gathering about the love he has for his wife and family who have supported him despite struggles surrounding his comeback.
The cause of the Warrior’s death is unknown, but early reports suggest that he simply collapsed whilst walking to his car with his wife on Tuesday. His character and distinctive facepaint will forever remain one that defined a generation, rest in piece you bluddy legend.
