As one of the best-loved athletes in UK history, Mo Farah has faced his fair share of media scrutiny and obligation. However, while filming to promote Weetabix’s Ultimate Sports Day, he faced his toughest challenge yet (being interviewed by three 10 year olds).

Some of the highlights include…
  • Mo being quizzed about his lack of hair and a revelation relating to dreadlocks!
  • When asked what music he listens to while training, “Old school garage” is revealed to be Farah’s tunes of choice.
  • Mo ‘calling out’ Usain Bolt for a race…paired with a threatening message to Bolt from one of the junior journalists.
  • Mo’s declaration that the ‘Mobot’ is the best sports celebration of all time!

The interviews coincided with the launch of the Weetabix Ultimate Sports Day – a campaign that aims to encourage children to get excited about sport and nutrition. Weetabix asked kids to design their ultimate sports day obstacle, with two winning schools seeing their designs brought to life at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in July where they will spend the day taking part in a sports day with Mo Farah.
