[EVENT] Butcher’s Basement for Halloween (In a real old butcher’s basement!)

butchersbasement copyHalloween and horror movies go hand in hand, but sometimes just drawing the curtains and turning the lights off doesn’t quite cut it. How about watching that movie in a creepy Victorian-era basement of an ex-butchers shop?
From October 30th until November 2nd you will have the chance to do just that. London’s only arcade bar, ‘Four Quarters’ in Peckham, will be opening their basement, including its array of butcher tables and old band-saws, to the public for the first time for a run of horror flicks. The two movies on offer will be kept strictly a secret, but rest-assured they will be two of the most fear-inducing films around. This will not be a pleasant evening out, it will be claustrophobic, dark and eerie, but how often do you get the chance to watch a horror movie in a basement? Just think of all the blood and suffering that happened down there? OK it wasn’t all human….
