Love Thyself – Anti-Valentine’s Gift Guide

love selfValentine’s day is back and I can feel my stomach turning already…If you’re sick of feeling the pressure of treating a special someone or tired of the annual tax on love, why don’t you do something different this year and treat yourself instead. Besides flowers die and chocolates will make your other half fat, IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?!

Here’s a couple of things that would make the perfect self-loving gift.

TOM CARTER Tio Ellinas Edition (Around $300)

tc watches Top quality watches are literally timeless gifts, they’re the kind of thing you pass down to your kids. Big steel face specialist Tom Carter has some pretty sweet watches in its current line-up, but none quite say “love thyself” like the Tio Ellinas Edition in Rose Gold. Made from 316L stainless steel and sapphire crystal glass, this watch stands out from the crowd and is tough enough to keep up with an active lifestyle. The quality of this watch carries right the way through from the detailed steel crown cap and latch, to its Tachymeter Finite Miyota OS20 movement. It’s also water resistant to 200m. If this is a little too flashy for you or out of your price range, you could always go for something in the TC Voyager collection. They’re about half the price, but still great quality time pieces. I have the volt blue one!

Olloclip iPhone lens (around $80)

The lenses include fisheye, wide-angle, 10x macro and 15x macro options which will be great for shooting a variety of subjects, but especially holiday scenes and food! 🙂

Classic Doctor Bag from The Bridge ($700)

the-bridge-classic-doctorYou can’t really go wrong with a classic style Doctor bag, you really can’t. Hand made in Florence, Italy, this beauty takes three months to make as it’s stiched, tanned and cured by humans, not some factory bot. It is a little pricey but this is the treat yourself gift guide so GET IN!
