glacéau smartwater x EENMAAL Lunch Event - LondonWe got a chance to try out glacéau smartwater x EENMAAL’s intriguing 48-hour pop-up restaurant that encouraged people to get away from their desks at lunch time and enjoy some time to themselves. The experience was thoroughly enjoyable.

EENMAAL (directly translated from Dutch as ‘dinner for one’) partnered with glacéau in London to help people put down emails and to-do lists and realise the benefits of taking a break. EENMAAL founder and strategic social designer Marina Van Goor introduced each session, explaining the benefits of solo dining in our ‘hectic-24/7-digital-crazy-login-logout-#everything-always-connected’ lifestyle.
glacéau smartwater x EENMAAL Lunch Event - LondonGoor’s team of renowned chefs guests prepared a selection of light and fresh cuisine using the capital’s tastiest ingredients. The menu included courses such as chicken ballotine with parsnip and chestnuts, gravlax with matcha salt and buttermilk mousse with preserved pear – all served with glacéau smartwater, the UK’s first vapour distilled spring water. Given the fact that tickets for this event sold out within eight hours of release, there’s clearly a hunger for the individual dining experience. Hopefully we’ll see more experiences like this taking place or even a permanent EENMAAL restaurant chain in the UK.
