New Flavours of Maximuscle’s Promax Lean Protein Bars Taste Tested

The latest range of Promax Lean protein bars has been released by the makers of the leading sports nutrition products. The taste and nutritional content of its Lean bars have been enhanced, and they now come in four flavours: Salted Caramel, Cookies & Cream, Chocolate Mint and Peanut Butter.

Maximuscle‘s newest high protein, low sugar, Promax Lean bars offer an indulgent range of flavours, developed based on consumer insight. The new taste options also come with some enhanced nutritional benefits.

If you don’t take our word for it, Maximuscle confirmed that its leading ambassadors, including Maro Itoje, Jordan Henderson, Conor Murray, Anthony Watson, Bradley Simmonds and Anthony Yarde will be using the products to aid their physical performance and support their training goals.

The new Maximuscle Promax Lean bars have a thick, chewy texture and taste delicious for the most part – we weren’t fully convinced about the cookies & cream flavour – but the mint and salted caramel were inseparable favourites among the team.

Wrapped in an eye-catching new packaging, the new bars are designed to fit in with a busy, on-the-go lifestyle as a high protein alternative to an unhealthy snacks such as crisps and chocolate bars. The new indulgent flavour bars now contain a dietary fibre called polydextrose to reduce the levels of sugar, with only 1.6g sugar per bar. The newly formulated bars can help aid consumer training goals and are accredited by the Informed-Sport programme.
