Grosvenor Casinos Targets Gents With New Campaign

Mark Wright Suit

The G in Grosvenor Casinos doesn’t stand for ‘Gambling’, oh no friends…It stands for ‘Gent’, and Grosvenor are hoping you’ll get the message with its latest campaign headed by Essex gent and generally lovely chap Mark Wright.

For better or worse, casinos often have a slightly tarnished image. Most people associate them with negative connotations and expect them to be unfriendly, unwelcoming hovels where desperate people sneak off to to try and win big. But while that may be true for some establishments, Grosvenor Casino, the UK’s largest casino operator, knows a thing or two about creating an entirely different kind of environment. Walking into a Grosvenor casino is like walking into a fancy restaurant or hotel, minus the snobbery. Everything from the decor to the the ambient music makes you feel like you’re in a place fit for a gentleman, so that’s why Grosvenor has launched this campaign to help us look and feel the part.

The campaign, which is currently running gives people advice on gentlemanly style and casino etiquette, as well as how to make a good first impression and pick a gambling table. This is the casino brand’s first ever multi-channel (TV, print, social media etc.) campaign in its 45-year-long history and does a great job of dispelling some of the negative myths that some people have about the casino environment.

Rather than a sink hole full of cagey, lonely gamblers, Grosvenor Casinos are a great place to have a night out with friends or a date, the food is delicious, the drinks are perfect and the ambience is charming. With friendly and welcoming staff to make first timers feel at ease, we’d definitely recommend giving Grosvenor Casinos a go if you’ve never been. If you set yourself a sensible limit (mine is usually around £25-50) and play humble, it’s a great way to spend an evening or even just to warm up before a night out, with the added bonus that with a little bit of like you could fund the rest of your night just with your winnings!
