Formerly known as The Olympic Stadium, West Ham’s London Stadium, has been incredibly rendered by FIFA 17’s latest and most powerful Frostbite engine, and bares vivid likeness to the real thing.

Speaking to EASPORTS.com, West Ham players Michail Antonio and Cheikhou Kouyaté commented on how much they were looking to playing in the new stadium, in addition to what they thought of the stadium’s inclusion in the game for the first time.

Michail Antonio

What are your thoughts on the new stadium?

“It’s a great feeling to have 60,000 fans backing us, it’s going to be a great atmosphere to play in. It’s also huge for the club to have a stadium like this, it’s really impressive, we’re ambitious and want to compete at the highest level and hopefully over the next few years we’ll be challenging the big boys at the top.”

Which game are you most looking forward to playing this season in your new home?

“The derby, the West ham vs. Tottenham derby. That is going to be an amazing day with a great atmosphere and fans are going to be all over it. Also it is going to be a great game as both teams will want and think they can win it – it will be end-to-end stuff.”

You’ve seen the stadium in the game. How does it compare to real life?

“The graphics are unbelievable. Since seeing a picture of it I can’t wait to play as myself and as West Ham on the game.”

Cheikhou Kouyaté

What are your thoughts on the club’s new home?

“It’s a very good stadium, it’s unbelievable. The stadium is very good for West Ham as  we are now playing in Europe and want to carry this on in the future. We now have a nice stadium for these games, so we will have to wait and see what the future holds for the stadium.”

Which game are you looking forward to playing the most?

“The derby game, they are always special.”

You’ve seen the stadium in the game, how does it compare to real life?
