Tekken 7 Playable at MCM London Comic Con

Tekken-7
On top of the typical awesomeness that takes place at MCM, Tekken 7 will be available to play at MCM London Comic Con this upcoming May bank holiday weekend. Exciting indeed, but it will only be the arcade version, we’ll have to remain patient for any sightings of a console version. Bandai Namco confirmed the thrilling news this week in a statement made by the company’s PR and Marketing Director Lee Kirton:

We are very excited to be bringing our biggest line-up ever to MCM London Comic Con in May. The booth is going to be packed with a huge variety of games from an array of genres and franchises. God Eater in particular we’re very excited about having at the show. It’s huge in Japan – and with the series making a big release in the West this year it makes perfect sense for it to receive a public debut at MCM Comic Con.” Source

There will be eSports competitions and other top gaming titles available to play over the weekend, including Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. There is more still to be confirmed but with a stellar list of publishers like 2K, Koei Tecmo and !f IDEA Factory all attending, expect to be thoroughly catered for if you’re into games.

If gaming isn’t your thing, celebs, comics and cosplay obviously is, and you already know that MCM Expos are as good as it gets in the UK cosplay scene. Attendees will be going all out with their costumes and there will be prizes and dance offs. A raft of special guests are also confirmed to make appearances at the show including Warwick Davis (Saturday/Sunday), Jesse Eisenberg (Sunday only), Kunal Nayyar (Raj BBT) and Melissa Rauch (the adorable blonde lady also from the Big Bang Theory who somehow dated Howard), as well as stars from shows like NCIS, Agents of Sheild, Arrow, Adventure time, Outcast and more.

MCM Expos are also a great place to pick up gifts for yourself and others as there will be tonnes of stalls selling comics, toys and the finest memorabilia, including replica character accessories. Priority Weekend tickets have already sold out (OBVS), but tickets still remain for each day – although we don’t expected them to last long as they’re selling FAST. If you’re not trapped in a dungeon or out of the country, MCM London Comic Con provides fun for all ages and is a great day out. You don’t want to miss out.

MCM London Comic Con takes place London’s ExCel Centre from May 27-29th. Head here for tickets and more info: mcmcomiccon.com/london
