Introducing the 7 Summits Collection from The North Face. Influenced by exploration of the highest peaks on every continent and inspired by the skill and dedication required to scale them, the new collection is designed to bring true adventure style to the city.
Scaling the seven summits is widely acknowledged to be one of mountaineerings greatest feats, captivating the brave and bold all around the globe who dare to dream of the world’s highest places.
In 2006, The North Face athlete and ski-mountaineer Kit DesLauriers took the seven summits challenge to a whole new level when she became the first person to not only scale all seven peaks but successfully ski down – cementing her place in history and showcasing the wonder of mastering multiple disciplines.
Inspired by Kit’s extraordinary achievement and the mythical seven summits themselves, the head-to-toe collection takes some of the brand’s most iconic styles to new heights, including the Himalayan Parka and Limited Edition ’95 Denali Fleece, as well as new silhouettes such as the Explore Haulaback backpack and 7SE Bootie.
Interchangeable patches across the collection pay futher homage to the highest peaks whilst the high-alpine aesthetic, modern fit and black and yellow colorways will elevate winter style in the city this fall.
