A whiff from beneath the waves is set to waft its way through this year’s National Fragrance Week, as The Kraken Spiced Rum teases the launch of its first-ever home fragrance.
The unique aroma blends the scents of rum, ginger, seawater and flotsam and is designed to perfectly complement the enjoyment of a Kraken cocktail. One spray of ‘Eau De Beast – The Fragrance of the Kraken’ is promised to fill any home with a smell inspired by an imperilled merchant ship attacked by a monstrous sea creature and dragged to the ocean depths as it transported spiced rum from the Caribbean. We’ve been lucky enough to get our hands on an early batch and can confirm that it’s has a rich aromatic scent.
Kraken’s first foray into home fragrances was created by a team of aroma experts to heighten the experience of enjoying The Kraken Spiced Rum at home. The limited-edition fragrance is housed in a deep-black and betentacled glass bottle that one might dream of salvaging from the sea.
Those that want to bring the scent of the Beast into their abode can register their interest on social media from 16th-22nd March. To receive a rare bottle free of charge all entrants have to do is tell b what they would do for a chance to drink a cocktail in a room genuinely scented by The Beast.
What’s more, if the scent proves as popular as many fear, The Beast may look to roll out a bigger run, making it a staple of every rum devotee’s home.
