Life is like a box of “clucklates” as Horsham lad buys 400 boxes of chocolate and hands them out dressed as….a chicken! What a hero.
Scott Moyse, 18, spotted a glitch on an online promotion that reduced the price of a £4 box of chocolates to a penny, so he bought 400 boxes paying only £10.90 including delivery. But what he did when hundreds of boxes of chocolates actually showed up at his door makes him a legend. Of course he could have sold them on and made a quick buck, but instead, Scott decided to spread some joy in his local area, Horsham.
Donning a chicken outfit (to get attention) Scott took to the Horsham high street and spent the day handing out his tasty windfall.
Speaking to theargus.co.uk about his decision to hand out the chocolate dressed as a chicken rather than sell it on, Scott said: “My friends said I should have sold them, but I didn’t need the money and thought I would just give them round and make other people happy.
“I wore the chicken costume because I had it and thought – why not?”
Some people were naturally a bit hesitant to take the treats from a giant chicken, but the boxes of chocolate were gone in about 20 minutes after a few people got involved. Dressed as a giant chicken, Scott handed out 320 boxes of chocolate to strangers and gave the rest to friends and family, just to create happiness – Scott Moyse, you are a bluDDy legend!!!
