Ever wanted to own your own brewery? Well, why not take a test run at one of London’s largest craft breweries at their expense (for the night at least!). To celebrate the launch of its new and improved taproom venue, Bermondsey-based Fourpure is giving one beer-lover the chance to become a brewer for the day and landlord for the night. The brewery is running a competition to win this beer-tastic prize that money can’t buy and all you need to do is share a picture of you and your pals enjoying a get-together, just tag Fourpure Brewing Co. on Facebook, Instagram (@fourpure) or twitter (@fourpurebrewing) and include both hashtags – #BrewerForADay #LandlordForANight. It’s that easy!
The lucky winner will be able to hang out at Fourpure with the brewery team and get stuck in with some hands-on activities to find out how to brew everything from lagers and stouts to IPAs. You will be shown the steps needed to make each 4,000-litre batches from grain to glass. Once you’ve brushed up on your brewing skills, you’ll have plenty of time to discover the 20 taps at the bar and taste the finished product. With a year-round core range, small batch and seasonal beers on offer, it’s enough to take anyone’s taste buds to a beery paradise.
After a hard day of brewing, the winner will be transformed into a landlord for the night – but this doesn’t mean you’ll be hard at work, oh no! Fourpure will be letting the ‘landlord’ invite 20 mates for a well-earned knees-up at the taproom with plenty of beer on tap and food covered by resident street food Dogfathers, Oh My Dog!. In true Peggy Mitchell style, you’ll even be able to pour your own pint behind the bar.
